The Easter Bunny might have gotten a little carried away this year.
I'm not sure if Ralph is exceedingly generous or if he was REALLY anxious to get out of the crowded Easter candy section at the big box store and threw one of everything into our cart to speed up the process. Either way, you guys scored.

My six kiddos started their one-by-one appearances almost THIRTY years ago now with my Alyssa Rae. I have purchased so many Easter baskets since then! Where do they GO???
This year's Easter buckets came from Walmart. Since I routinely lose them, I was not going to pay double digit prices for cute baskets. I went with these festive Easter egg buckets because they were the least objectionable pattern. We made each of them a little different colored Easter grass. Hopefully Lily the Lab doesn't eat the grass and poop streamers to round out the holiday.
The wooden initial tags came from Michael's. I love monograms and initialed items and I have zero problem fishing through a whole deep bin to find the ones I want. To add them to the buckets, I just popped one end of the plastic handle off the bucket and slid the loop of the tag over it, then popped the handle back into place.
Besides the usual candy suspects, I try to personalize baskets every year with a project I made or with a treat specific to each of you. This year Daniel got the giant Reese's egg and a Dunkin' card. Henry got his beloved Ferrero Rocher in a bunny case. Alex got cream cheese and chive crackers and a package of cracker sticks and cheese dip. He loves that stuff. The little Bean got two packages of cotton candy and two small stuffed animals to add to her collection.

No matter how old they get they still show up in the morning to poke around and see what good stuff they got in their baskets. I honestly LOVE that.
Enjoy the holiday and the time with your family!
